Captain Brandt Roger, a Houma native, will guide you on an unforgettable inshore redfish adventure through the scenic waters of Dularge, Dulac, or Cocodrie. At Rojo Charters, we specialize in sight-fishing for redfish, offering a hands-on, high-energy experience from a custom Uncle J Custom boat equipped with a 5′ Frog Daddy Manufacturing casting platform. This elevated view gives anglers the ultimate advantage in spotting redfish in shallow marshes and flats.
Our vessel is also outfitted with dual Power-Poles for superior boat control, even in windy conditions, as well as Garmin electronics and a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor powered by lithium batteries for stealthy navigation through fish-rich waters.
We provide all rods, reels, and tackle—including both spinning and baitcasting setups—featuring tournament-grade gear from 6th Sense Fishing and Shimano reels paired with 40lb Cortland braided line, built to handle the thick structure and vegetation we frequently fish.

Louisiana Sight Fishing Trip - "Meet at the Dock"
$650 Per Day for 1-2 People
-Participants are required to drive to a designated boat launch site on the morning of the fishing excursion. The meeting point will be established and communicated to customers several days ahead of the trip. Upon arrival, Captain Brandt will load the boat with all essential equipment, tackle, coolers, and other necessities. A brief safety orientation will be provided, highlighting the location of life jackets, horns, throw cushions, and the first aid kit. Departure from the marina will take place at the onset of safe light, marking the commencement of our fishing adventure.
*Should you decide to bring a cooler with beverages or snacks, we kindly ask you to transfer the contents into a provided cooler. This is to ensure proper weight distribution and minimize any unnecessary clutter on board*

-Guests embarking on the All-Inclusive sight-fishing expedition will enjoy an overnight stay at our lodge the night before the fishing date. On the morning of the trip, Captain Brandt will personally pick up the guests from the lodge and drive them to the designated boat launch for the day. Upon arrival, Captain Brandt will load the boat with all necessary equipment, tackle, coolers, and other essentials before launching. A concise safety orientation will be provided, highlighting the locations of life jackets, horns, throw cushions, and the first aid kit. Departure from the marina will coincide with the onset of safe light, signaling the start of our fishing trip. As the trip concludes, we will clean and process your fish, vacuum-sealing them for safe travels.

Fly Fishing - What To Expect
Rojo Charters is a specialist fly fishing company based in Houma, Louisiana. It focuses on providing clients with exceptional fishing experiences in the brackish estuaries and saltwater marshes surrounding the area. On the day of the trip, customers will meet with Captain Brandt Roger at the designated launch point, which will be communicated beforehand. Arrival and launch times will also be confirmed prior to the trip. Rojo Charters provides fish cleaning and vacuum sealing services at a $50 extra charge , and clients who wish to bring their catch home must bring their own cooler. Alcohol is permitted, but not supplied by the company. The company provides all necessary equipment, including rods, reels, tackle, fuel, ice, drinks, snacks, and a memorable fishing experience. A gratuity for the captain is appreciated. This service accommodates a maximum of two customers.

-Target Species: Redfish
-Method: Sight-Fishing from 5′ Casting Platform, light tackle gear and artificial lures
-Time: 6:00 AM departure, 12:00 PM -2:00 PM return
-Details: The Inshore Tag & Release Trip will commence at 6:00 AM and will take place in the Houma, Louisiana area. The trip will last 8 hours and will take place in the bays, lakes, ponds, and backwaters of Dularge, Dulac, or Cocodrie, Louisiana. The Tag & Release Trip is a trip ran in coordination with TAG Louisiana‘s joint program between RFRI and the Coastal Conservation Association of Louisiana. We will Catch, Tag, and, Release Redfish in an effort to better understand their patterns and other important data is also gathered for research. This trip will return at 2:00 PM or earlier depending on customers request.ROJO CHARTERS donates $100 per Tag and Release Trip booked to TAG LOUISIANA in an effort to further research on our favorite game fish!

Lodging Information
The 322 sq.ft studio cottage features Wifi, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette. Relax on the patio surrounded by plants, savor a glass of wine, or simply unwind. This charming cottage serves as your home away from home in the bayou area.
Inside, coffee, tea, cold water, and a few soft drinks or juice are provided, and each side of the bed has an outlet for charging your cell phone.
While the pool is a shared space, we prioritize privacy for our guests. Please note that pool and hot tub use is reserved for paid guests ONLY unless discussed before reserving the cottage. If you plan to use the pool, kindly notify us at least 30 minutes in advance, so we can have it heated/cooled and ready for your enjoyment!
